Is it really free to start?
Yes. The Starter plan is free forever — one branch, up to five users, and the core POS, kitchen, inventory and recipe features. No credit card, no trial countdown. You upgrade only when you outgrow it.
How long does setup take?
Most restaurants are taking real orders the same day. The onboarding wizard walks you through menu, modifiers, recipes, tax rules, branches and user invites step by step.
What happens when the internet goes down?
You keep selling. The POS, kitchen and waiter apps queue everything locally and sync automatically the moment the connection returns — no lost orders, no manual re-entry.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Any Android tablet, Windows machine or laptop will do. For receipts, GoSufra prints to standard ESC/POS thermal printers over Bluetooth, network or USB — the ones you probably already own.
Can GoSufra handle several branches?
Yes. Every branch gets its own stock, staff, tables, shifts, tax settings and reports, while you keep one shared menu and one consolidated set of books. Compare branches side by side from the dashboard.
Does it really do full accounting, or just sales reports?
Full double-entry accounting: chart of accounts, journals posted automatically from sales, refunds, purchases, payroll and expenses, plus trial balance, balance sheet, P&L, payables, receivables, cost centers, fiscal-period closing, fixed assets and depreciation.
Which payment methods are supported?
Cash, card terminals, Paymob, Fawry, InstaPay, Vodafone Cash, Etisalat Cash, Orange Cash and Stripe. You can also record post-dated cheques and deferred payment instruments.
Can I get an app with my own restaurant's branding?

Who owns my data, and can I export it?
Your data is yours. Every report exports to PDF and Excel, and you can request full data deletion at any time. Each restaurant is fully isolated from every other one on the platform.
Is my data secure?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with daily backups, role-based access for nine distinct staff roles, login lockout protection, and a full audit trail of who changed what and when.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Plans are billed monthly or annually and you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from your dashboard at any time. Changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated.
Do you offer training and support?
Every plan includes guided onboarding and support. Higher tiers add priority response and a dedicated account manager, plus an SLA on the top plan.
